Woodward Christian Academy is a non-denominational, independent Christian school serving Woodward the surrounding areas. Woodward Christian Academy ministers to students from 3 years old through 12th grade. The school seeks to provide an excellent education for their students as well as a safe, Godly atmosphere. High Plains Technology Center

High Plains Area Vocational-Technical School, District #24, was established by a vote of the electorate of this district on April 28, 1981. The vote was held in Woodward, Mooreland, Buffalo, Fort Supply, and Sharon-Mutual school districts to begin operation under the supervision and administration of the State Department of Career and Technology Education.
In 1983, Fargo joined the district and Gage joined the district in 1994. In January 1982, the official name for the school was chosen as High Plains Area Vocational-Technical School. In the fall of 1994, the marketing name of the school was changed to High Plains Institute of Technology. The official name of the school was changed to High Plains Technology Center School District #24 in October 2001.

The current boundaries of the school district are coterminous with the seven sending school districts as follows: Buffalo School District, Fargo School District, Fort Supply School District, Gage School District, Mooreland School District, Sharon-Mutual School District, and Woodward School District.
